She believed that broadcasting the act of self-defense would protect herself and make a statement against domestic violence.
She has worked with some of the top names in the industry, including Beyoncé, Timbaland, and Usher.
She has also choreographed for television shows, such as Disney's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Nickelodeon's Winx Club, and Fox's So You Think You Can Dance.
She is currently a teaching artist at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City.
